Accepting NUwave Wireless Certificates
Don’t be surprised to encounter a pop-up when next connecting to NUwave, the university’s secure wireless campus network. This pop-up, asking users to verify a certificate, is safe to accept and is similar to the one received when connecting to NUwave for the first time from any particular laptop, mobile phone, or other device. Periodically, Northeastern is required to update the security certificate for NUwave, which helps keep the university community safe and secure when connecting wirelessly from Northeastern locations.
For a refresher on NUwave and what to expect when verifying certificates, find instructions for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices in the Tech Service Portal.
Library Resources in the Student Hub
As of April 26, library reminders and resources can be found in the Student Hub Notifications menu. Students will receive an action item under Notifications when a requested library resource is available for pickup or when a borrowed resource is due to be returned. In combination with Scholar OneSearch, one of the customizable My Applications on the Hub homepage, students can use the Student Hub to easily keep track of and access Northeastern library resources. Log in to the Hub at me.northeastern.edu to get started.

New Features within Adobe Creative Suite
Two new products have joined Northeastern’s Adobe Creative Cloud suite: Substance 3D and Adobe Express. The Substance 3D collection provides the tools for beginners and pros alike to create in 3D, while Adobe Express combines the features users love from Adobe Spark with capabilities unique to other Creative Cloud applications. Students who don’t already have access to a Northeastern Adobe license can request one from adobe.northeastern.edu.

Resources for New Alumni
Congratulations to Northeastern’s newest alumni!
