Northeastern University students have access to general use printers spread across the institution’s campuses. As of Monday, July 29, 2019, the student printing experience has been upgraded with PaperCut: the new software for all Northeastern general-use printers.

Now, you can:

Print from a diverse range of devices. PaperCut supports Mac, PC, Linux, iOS, Android, Google Cloud Print, AirPrint, email-to-print, and web upload printing methods.

Release printed materials more quickly. New print release stations allow you to tap your card instead of swiping, making it much easier to release printed materials.

Print with or without a Husky Card. With PaperCut, scan a QR code and release printed materials from a mobile device.

Use a web-based print portal for more visibility and control. View print history and balances, upload documents to print, and see the environmental impact of your printer usage, using the new online print portal.

Visit papercut.northeastern.edu and sign in to the new  portal with your myNortheastern credentials.

On this portal, you’ll find information about how to use PaperCut, including how to print from various device types, how to download a PaperCut driver as well as how to uninstall a currently installed driver. The PaperCut print portal also allows you to view print job history, upload documents to print, view print balances, and see the environmental impact of your printer usage.

If you have any questions, please contact the ITS Service Desk in Snell Library, 617.373.4357 [HELP], or help@northeastern.edu.
